Much of the public information about court cases is available free online from the county clerks. Below are the official search sites for the counties where we most often handle family law cases. These are government websites; we are not affiliated with them. Links last checked October 2026.
Bexar County (San Antonio)
Bexar County has combined its old Court Records Search, Fugitive Search and Bail Bond Search (search.bexar.org) into one site, the Justice Information Portal. If you have the old addresses bookmarked, use the portal instead.

Many of our Austin and Travis County clients never need to visit our San Antonio office: we send and receive documents by email. See our Austin family law page.
Guadalupe County (Seguin)
- Guadalupe County judicial records search: civil, family, probate, guardianship and criminal cases and hearings.
Comal County (New Braunfels)
- Comal County District Clerk records: links to the county’s judicial record search and explains how to request copies.
Statewide
- re:SearchTX: the Texas courts’ statewide case search. It requires an account, and what you can see depends on the county and the case.
The online records are a convenience and are not official copies. For a certified copy to use in court, request one from the clerk’s office.
